Decaf gets a bad rap, mostly because coffee roasters don’t give it the love it deserves. But we’re not one of those roasters.

In our book, decaf drinkers are the ultimate coffee fans. Think about it—they’re in it purely for the flavor, unlike us caffeine-crazed java junkies.

Our sugarcane decaffeination process uses a natural compound called ethyl acetate (EA) to remove the caffeine. It’s pretty simple: the coffee beans are moistened with water, and EA binds to the caffeine, gently removing it while leaving the delicious flavors intact.

So, in honor of the real coffee heroes—decaf drinkers—we make sure our decaf is a one-way ticket to flavor town.
